This Life Chose Me: A Ninja Musical (Reviews)

“(This Life Chose Me: A Ninja Musical) is quite an entertaining one-hour show, which uses the sentimentality of musicals to parody the violent nature of ninjas. Wilbert’s voice and lyrics are outstandingly witty, yet her strength was in the non-musical scenes. Her improvisation and acting skills had the audience laughing throughout every line.

“Katie Wilbert’s concept of a one-woman ninja musical is certainly compelling and thoroughly deserves further exploration… Wilbert’s humor has a Saturday Night Live sensibility.
